Size Guide

Mattes Eurofit Saddle Pads

  • Measurement A-B (Back Length) - Measure along the spine of the pad, from front to back.
  • Measurement C-D (Depth) - Measure from the top to the bottom of the pad..
  • Measurement E-F (Sheepskin Area) - The measurement will show you where the sheepskin underside will come to, if you choose any option with sheepskin that sits underneath the pad.
  • Measurement G-H (Width) - Measure half way down your current pad from front to back, or if you don't currently have a Eurofit Style Pad, use the stated measurement as a guide to where the pad will come to on your horse.">
  • If you require sheepskin on the top, please allow 3cm overlap for each section when measuring for the correct length A-B (e.g. if you want front and back top sheepskin and your pad is 58cm long, deduct 6cm so 52cm is the space you can fit your saddle into.)

The Mattes Eurofit pad is as the name suggests modelled on the European style of saddle pads. Choose from a stunning array of quilted fabrics and captivating colours, cotton, cotton sheen or luxurious velvet supported by a patented high-quality cotton/polyester blend, that reduces friction between the saddle pad and the horses back. Personalize every detail, from the quilt material to the colours of the trim, binding, motif, and, of course, the amount and colour of sheepskin you desire.

Experience the innovative Mattes SPINEFREE® design, ensuring no pressure on the withers and spine. The SADDLE-FIX® secure fastening system effortlessly keeps the center strip of the saddle pad in place within the saddle compartment.

At the heart of the Mattes All Purpose saddle pad is a two-layer core: POLY-FLEX® (a needle-punched needled felt) for shape retention and pressure equalization, and polyester wadding for optimal padding. No foam, neoprene, or gel is used, ensuring the entire structure is fully air permeable.
